This band will bring all of your favorites to sing and dance to. Set up your chairs on the streets along Maple Street on the West side of the public square.
Streets close at 5:00 pm, and the concert begins at 6:30 pm and continues until 9:30 pm.
Dancing encouraged...singing along required.
Participate in the America 250 Mural Mosaic Downtown this Friday.
While you attend the Friday Night Live concert on June 5, stop by and paint a tile with your own design (tile, paints, and brushes provided). Each tile will be assembled to make a mural mosaic honoring America 250. The mural will be hung on Shacklett's Photography building on the corner of College and Main Street off the square. The unveiling of the mural will take place at the July 3 Friday Night Live Concert at 6:00 pm.
Tiles will be available for painting in front of Whiskey Dix along North Public Square.
What to expect at a Friday Night Live Concert?
Road closures on the public square begin at 5:00 pm. There are two parking garages with free parking. One block from the square is the City Hall/Linebaugh Public Library parking garage off Church and Vine Streets. Also, the Rutherford County Judicial Building parking garage has entrances off Walnut Street and Maple Street.
Bring your own chairs to enjoy the concert and sit in the street!
Restaurants around the square and around downtown are open for business. A few food trucks will be available at the Rutherford County Courthouse after 5:00 pm.
Porta Potties are available off East Main Street, across from the old Bank of America building, in the parking lot.
