Mattie Rion owned and operated the flower shop she founded, staying involved well into her nineties. After her retirement, her daughter and son-in-law, John Moffett, took over the business. The flower shop stayed in the family for 4 generations until 2018, Jenny and Chuck Harrison purchased it from the Moffett's. Today, it is known as RION Flowers, Coffee, and Gifts located at 117 S Academy Street.We look forward to celebrating this business on March 4th.
