What does it mean to be a Main Street Business Member?
Main Street is a nonprofit chartered 1985 to “promote, enhance, and maintain the historic downtown as the heart of our community.” This organization is part of the National Main Street program and has been active for 40 years!
Main Street Murfreesboro offers a "Business Membership" for an annual donation to small businesses in the historic downtown business district.
Why join Main Street as a business member?
Chris German (co-owner of Country Gourmet) says, “As a business owner in our Historic Downtown, it just makes sense to invest in an establishment that puts all its efforts into making Downtown even better. I encourage everyone who loves Historic Downtown Murfreesboro to support Main Street!”
Judy Goldie (Trendy Pieces, Bella’s Boutique, and The Marketplace) says, “Our stores join the downtown membership each year for several reasons…it serves as a merchant association for our downtown business owners.
