Saturday Market Newsletter June 28, 2025
Make the Market Part of Your Weekend
Each week we meet new Rutherford County residents--as well as neighbors from across Middle Tennessee--who visit the Saturday Market. They all tell us how friendly everyone is and how they love our market "vibe." We know market visitors are looking for good, locally grown produce, fruits, and meats. We have that and more. Our bakers, artisans, and vendors make your market experience better. The Saturday Market has become a family & friends meeting place, helping keep our downtown vibrant. We hope you will join us from 8-Noon around the historic Rutherford County Courthouse this weekend. Bring your children. It's a great experience.

New Saturday Market Stickers $5 at the Information Tent
Ready, Stamp, Enter to Win
Bring your June Market Passport Card to the market this Saturday, and if you have visited on three Saturdays, then drop your card in the drawing box. No purchase necessary. Each month, we will draw one lucky customer's card for up to $60 (maybe more) in gift certificates from market vendors. New July Passports will be given out next week for the July drawing. Visit the market. Get a card. Get a stamp. Enter to win. It's our way of saying thanks to our loyal market customers. Stamps and drop-off at the Main Street Market Tent on the west side of the courthouse--next to the musician.
Reuse, Repurpose, Recycle
We've all seen flour sack dresses, made from printed flour sacks in days gone by, but T & J Farms is repurposing their heavy-duty feed sacks as shopping bags or tote bags. With an eye toward repurposing and a little duct tape, anything is possible. Get them now at T & J Farms for just $5.00 each. Soon they will be a fashion statement.
Plant Sale at Little Owl Co this Saturday.
Ever Thought About Being a Market Volunteer?
The Saturday Market relies on volunteers to help give out passport cards, stamp cards, answer visitor questions, and be a welcoming face to our market. If you are interested in becoming a market volunteer, fill out the form linked here, and you will be contacted about volunteer opportunities. Volunteers sign up for one to two hours on Saturday morning to sit at the Market Information Tent.

Drop off your passengers at the market, then come back to pick them up and load your purchases. There are two parking garages one block from the public square (Civic Plaza Parking garage and County Judicial Building Parking garage).
Customer restrooms are available at the First Baptist Church "Youth Rising" building during the market hours. The building is located at the end of the block on East Main Street. Look for signs pointing towards the bathrooms.
