Located in historic downtown Murfreesboro, Tennessee, James & Associates has been serving the residential design needs of people from middle Tennessee and all across the country for over 50 years.

Steve James, owner, taught drafting at the high school and university level for fifteen years. He has built custom homes and worked on commercial projects. With this background, he has knowledge of building construction and understands its practical applications.

Mr. James Bell originally started the business in 1958. Steve James bought the business in 1986 from Mrs. Bell after Mr. Bell passed away. The original office location was on Lytle Street.

Steve moved the office a few other locations within the downtown square area before moving the office it to its current location at 119 S Walnut Street. James & Associates Residential Designers has been at this location for the last 24 yrs....
