Final Market for 2026

This has been an amazing market season for the Saturday Market. We have had thousands of visitors--many from here in Rutherford County, but many from across Middle Tennessee--and beyond. Someone said coming to the market feels like a chance to step back in time to a slower, friendlier pace of life. We couldn't agree more. We are already planning for the 2027 season, and our vendors are making plans for winter markets and customer pickups in Murfreesboro. Watch our Facebook page for information on where you can find products from your favorite vendors from November-April. Thank you to all the customers who supported our local growers, bakers, and makers this year.

Turn in Your October Loyalty Card

This is the last Saturday of the 2026 Market Season and the last Saturday to turn in your Loyalty Card. Stop by the Market Information Tent on Saturday to record your visit. We will draw one lucky name Saturday afternoon, and that person will win an October gift basket from our market vendors.

Pet Halloween Costume This Saturday

Win a Market Rocking Chair in November

If you go to the Main Street Sip, Shop, and Stroll Downtown After 5 event on November 6 from 5-8 p.m., you can enter to win prizes from local merchants and this year, a handcrafted rocking chair from one of our Saturday Market vendors, Hollow Springs Chairs and Swings. Jeff Bratcher wanted to give back to Main Street, so he made a rocking chair as a donation. You can still see Jeff's work this Saturday at the market. He also takes custom orders. We are delighted to have had Jeff and his wife Tony as market vendors since 2025.

Trick or Treat on the Square Downtown

Join us for a safe, family-friendly afternoon as local businesses welcome you to trick or treat around the charming public square. Bring your children in costume, explore the beautifully decorated shops, and gather plenty of candy and treats. This is a fantastic opportunity to celebrate the spirit of Halloween, connect with our community, and support small businesses. Don’t miss the fun! Come enjoy a spooktacular evening for the whole family!

Put This Special Event on Your Calendar

Celebrate Christmas Rutherford County Courthouse and lit up tree

On the first Friday night of December, we gather around the historic Rutherford County Courthouse for the annual lighting of the Rutherford County Christmas tree presented by Middle TN Electric.
Main Street organizes this event, featuring entertainment, caroling, the lighting of the tree, and of course a visit from Santa. Bring your family downtown for dinner, view the live nativity, shop in unique stores, enjoy an hour-long program full of choir music, dancing, and acting. The fun starts at 6:00 pm with carriage rides and FREE activities for children. Stage performances begin at 6:30 pm and include Santa lighting the tree. Santa goes into the courthouse for free photos from 7:30- 8:30 pm, with continued activities and entertainment outside. It's a Christmas tradition for Murfreesboro, and we hope you and your family will be a part of the festivities.
PARKING in the Public Square will be closed at 4:00 PM. Parking is available at the Civic Plaza and County Judicial parking garages.
