We are LIVE! Make Music Murfreesboro
Get ready to celebrate the sound of summer.
What is Make Music Day?
Make Music Day is a free music celebration like no other! The original and now-world-wide day of music began in 1982 in Franceas Fête De La Musique (the name meaning is “make music”). Held on the summer solstice, the longest day of the year, any and everyone is invited to join, play music, or host performances. Four decades later, this has spread throughout the world and is now celebrated in more than 1,000 cities in 120 different countries!
This year, Make Music Murfreesboro transforms public spaces across the county into welcoming performance spots where amateurs and professionals alike share music with friends and neighbors. Sidewalks, parks, storefronts, and community gathering places become stages for creativity, connection, and live music-making.
