Saturday, October 25, is the final day for the 2025 Saturday Market Season on the square in downtown Murfreesboro. We have a full lineup of your favorite vendors. Seventy vendor spots will be lined up around the courthouse, and we have the Parkinson's Support Group scheduled to provide information about their services. Sophie Buck is playing on our market final day, and we have three sponsors. Be sure you stop by to visit Michael Busey, with State Farm Insurance, Adventure Planners to learn more about travel adventure opportunities, and Davey Tree to talk to tree experts. Where else can you find so much expertise while you are shopping?

Fall produce is in abundance, bakery tables will be piled high with tasty treats, and our meat vendors (beef, chicken, ham, lamb, and fresh trout) are stocked up. It's also a great time to buy holiday gifts from our artisan vendors. 

See you on the square from 8-noon Saturday. 

This is the last Saturday to enter the October Gift Basket Drawing. No purchase is necessary. The October winner will receive a gift basket with over $75 worth of products from the Saturday Market. You will have a basket of products donated from our market vendors, which you can pick up at the Main Street Office on College Street next week. Thanks to everyone for your enthusiastic support of this new program for market customers.

Main Street Murfreesboro’s “Scarecrows Downtown” contest brings creativity to the heart of our city. The competition invited businesses, civic groups, churches, community organizations, and families to make a scarecrow. Now, you can use this map to guide your walking tour and explore the amazing displays throughout downtown. To vote, scan the QR code attached to your favorite Scarecrow and enter to win a $25 gift card! Voting runs through October 31.  The Scarecrow with the most votes wins $25.  

Three judges' selections will be announced on October 13. The 1st place Scarecrow wins $100, 2nd place $75, and 3rd place $50.  A big thank you to all of our participating community artists for creating a Scarecrow and making downtown so much fun this Fall!
