It's More Than a Market

We are very proud of our 15 year history for the Saturday Market on the square, and we know that over the years we have become much more than a market stop for fresh produce, flowers, and bread. We have become a destination for many of you in Middle Tennessee. Our market family grows every year, with you all bringing your children and your grandparents and out of town visitors. Help us celebrate the excitement of a fall market and join us every Saturday through the end of October from 8-noon downtown. Locally produced is best, and you are helping continue the tradition of supporting farmers, growers, bakers, and makers in Middle Tennessee.

Get Your September Passport Card Stamped This Saturday

Two weeks remaining for September Stamps. We will stamp your card at the information tent. Three stamps and you are entered into our $70++ Drawing for gift cards from the market vendors. No purchase is necessary. It's our thank you to loyal market customers.

New Musicians for September 20 Market

This week, we are excited to have Jack Robert and Avery Grace, BlankPageDuo, join us as Market Musicians. We hope you will welcome these new local musicians to our "market stage." You can find them at Blankpageduo music on instagram.

New Business on the Square-Bookstore and Plant Shop

This Saturday at the market, you can learn about one of the newest businesses opening on the square. The Grand Exchange is Murfreesboro’s newest, locally owned bookstore and plant shop! Specializing in new books, rare indoor plants, and gifts for any occasion, you’re likely to find something you love at The Grand Exchange. Stop by and celebrate their grand opening this weekend and meet them at the market on Saturday. They can point directly to their new downtown location. 21 S Public Sq. Murfreesboro, TN 37130

MTSU Students Welcome to the Market

We always have MTSU students at the Saturday Market, but the MTSU Blue Raider shuttle is making it easier for them to shop at the market and explore downtown. The shuttle will transport students from campus to the public square every 30 minutes, from 9 a.m. - Noon. Students can catch the bus behind the MTSU library in the parking area. There is an MTSU scavenger hunt downtown designed for students to participate in for a chance to win prizes. The shuttle will run from September through October to give students an opportunity to enjoy the Murfreesboro downtown square and the Saturday Market. Drop off downtown is on Maple Street, across from the Saturday Market information tent.
