Downtown Murfreesboro is at its best when it brings people together, and we're excited to welcome a special cultural experience to the Murfreesboro Saturday Market on Saturday, June 20. Join us at 10:00 am for a free performance by Danza Azteca Quetzalli ("Beautiful Feather"), an Aztec dance group based in Middle Tennessee.

The performance will take place on the grassy lot across from the Rutherford County Courthouse, at the corner of East Main Street and Church Street, and is free and open to the public.

Through performances, cultural presentations, and community events, the group fosters cultural education, community engagement, and intergenerational connection. Their mission is to create opportunities for children, families, and community members to learn about and appreciate Indigenous traditions while promoting cultural pride, unity, and respect.
